Romelu Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello has revealed Inter Milan are not planning to sell the striker this summer.
Lukaku has been linked with a return to the Premier League with Chelsea and Manchester City interested in signing the Belgian. Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen on bringing in a new striker ahead of the new season and has identified both Lukaku and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
However, Chelsea seems to have been handed a huge blow in their hopes of signing both players now with Dortmund adamant the Norwegian will be staying with them for at least another season.
“It went well, we took stock of various situations,” Pastorello told FCInterNews when asked about his meeting.
Asked if Inter are ‘calm’ about their situation regarding Lukaku, Pastorello replied: “Yes, sure, sure.”
“Romelu is on vacation and I think he deserves a holiday like he’s taking, there are no problems.”
Chelsea want to sign the Belgian for a reported fee of £150 million, a player they sold to Everton for £28m in 2014.
