Manchester United duo of Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek is doing their preseason are not part of the team in their Surrey camp.
The duo struggled with injuries towards the end of last season and according to Manchester Evening News, the players are currently being taken through their sessions at the club’s training base in Carrington.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is leading a training camp at Pennyhill Park and the injured pair are set to link up with the main squad on Monday after being left in Manchester. They will have two days to show that they are ready ahead of the club’s second preseason training against Brentford on Wednesday.
Martial hasn’t played since he suffered a knee injury back in March with Van de Beek withdrawing from the Netherlands squad at Euro 2020 due to a groin injury.
While Martial has been with the team for some time, De Beek will be hoping that he can get more game time in his second season at United having been a regular on the bench in his first season in England.
